I bought these for when I have company to make personalised soup dishes and they're the perfect size for a meal (depends on your portion size).The color was exactly what I had hoped for but the only thing I have issue with is the only way to pull the cover off when hot is with the pumpkin stem. It's not a very big handle to work with especially when you've got oven mitts on.

I purchased this to hold pepper on my stove for the Fall season. There is no seal which makes it less than ideal for my purpose but I decided to take a chance anyway. For the couple months I’ll use it, it’s fine. It’s a nice piece and would be great for individual soups or servings during the season.

It's a beautiful bowl. Note: I bought it to do a Brie and fig jam dip and the wheel of Brie did not quite fit. I had to cut it down to get it in there. But it still functions well and cleans easy.
