About this item

  • Enhances UVB & Light Reflection: The reptile light fixture focuses the light emitted by the bulb, ensuring even distribution across the entire illumination area. The polished interior surface greatly enhances light reflection, minimizing losses of both light and UVB. This reflective effect optimizes the efficiency of the light source, promoting the health and growth of reptiles
  • Max 160W: Each socket can accommodate 160W reptile heat lamps, suitable for ceramic heat bulbs, UVB bulbs, solar bulbs, and other reptile lighting
  • Independent Switches: The power cord of the bearded dragon light fixture is equipped with two independent switches, allowing you to control the heat lamp and UVB lamp as needed, providing a comfortable temperature and lighting environment for reptiles
  • High-Temperature Label: When the surface temperature of the reptile heat lamp exceeds 113°F, the triangular warning label on the lamp will turn red. This label can also be used to verify if the ceramic heat lamp is functioning properly
  • Quick Heat Dissipation: The reptile heat lamp features multiple ventilation holes on the top for effective heat dissipation, preventing bulb damage from overheating and reducing the frequency of bulb replacements, thereby saving replacement costs
  • *Reptile bulb not included

This dual fixture has been a perfect addition to my fish and turtle tank setup. It holds a UV light in one side and a ceramic bulb-style heater in the other, providing versatility and functionality. Thanks to its dual-corded design, I’ve been able to use two separate timers, allowing each component to operate on different intervals. This setup gives my turtle the option to bask in heat, light, or both, depending on his preferences, which has been fantastic for his comfort and well-being. It’s a thoughtful and adaptable solution for maintaining an optimal environment in the tank.

So far so good 👍 way better than having two light all over and it's a nice size to fit on top

This fixture has made a great difference in managing especially cold times in my chicken coop. If it's 20°F a heating pad doesn't help keep frost bite off combs and wattles. I had set this in my coop for winter, metal zip tied to the main 2x3(fence rail lumber) roof beam that my birds like to perch on. It cannot get near any grasses or nesting materials. It's got one foot above and 2+feet of distance below. I can turn on one lamp or both. The general heat is enough to counter the low temperature in @ 35 cubic feet vented area, partially open by @ 2 ft to winter wind gusts. Also not insulated, just 3/4" lumber depth exterior. I would say the temp stayed in the 35-40°range. If your chickens are more delicate, you'll want to eliminate large openings some or add a few fleece blankets or plastic sheeting or tarp around the outside, but DO VENT the enclosure. Anyway. This lamp was great and I love the appearance and shape. And that the reflector stays on. I've used the basic silver work lamps forever and they fall apart. This lamp is wonderful!

Works well. Second time I’ve bought this item. I added it to my first one where I actually use it to keep my outdoor stray cat warm out in the shed for the winter months.

Bought this for my bearded dragon and I needed a second heat bulb in their tank during winter. I love that there are switches on each cord to turn it on and off instead of on the light fixture itself. Makes it easy for my kids to be able to turn the light off without worrying about them touching the fixture and possibly burning themselves.

This is very easy add lights and assemble. I added two 150W ceramic bulbs and put this inside my 3D printer enclosure.I would have preferred the have one switch and one cord. The dual cord may suit some people but I would like to connect this to a thermostat so I need to find a cord adapter to connect them together.

I got this because the size was just perfect for one of my snake's enclosures, where the other dome lamps that I have are a bit too wide to safely work with it.After getting this, I'd heard from a few people that these dual-bulb fixtures aren't necessarily recommended, but I can't remember why -- I think it's something to do with the output of the light/heat not being as optimal as a wider, flared lamp? Don't quote me on that, though.Anyway, I'm still using it for now, just with a different (smaller) enclosure, though I do plan to upgrade at a later date as I can afford it. And so far, it's working perfectly. It comes with an instruction booklet, but it's incredibly easy to assemble, because you basically just snap the fixture part into the base part and you're good to go.I really like that this has the insulated hooks in between the bulbs, too. (And it has two instead of just one, so that makes me feel a bit safer.) I recommend using any heat lamps with a lamp stand, just to be on the safe side. This one works perfectly with the lamp stand I already have, because I can just clip the hooks onto the hanger thing, adjust the height, and voila, good to go.I also like that this fixture can work with ceramic heat emitters (CHEs). I've noticed that a lot of the dome lamps I've looked at in stores specifically say "not for use with ceramic heat emitters," so those are pretty much useless for me, as I use a basking bulb (heat, UVA) during the day and a CHE at night. This one does state that each socket can only support up to 160 watts, but that's fine for me, as I'm only using 75 or 100 watts in each. These have an On/Off switch on each cord, and they can be used with an outlet timer or on their own. (I haven't tried to use this fixture on a thermostat or a dimmer, so I can't speak to that, but I'm not sure if those qualities are bulb-dependent or fixture-dependent.)Overall, I'm really liking this dual-bulb fixture, and I hope that it stays working for quite a while. I'm currently using it with a 40-gallon front-opening glass enclosure, and it seems to be keeping the temps just right without over or under-heating.
