this industrial endoscope camera is easy to use and has intuitive controls. It has outstanding video and photo detailed images. I’ve posted a few photos of the camera going inside the barrel of my shotgun. Sorry for not updating the photo date on the camera, as I didn’t think about that and was just playing around with it without knowing everything about it yet. It is rechargeable by a type C usb cord. For the price, this is a great camera. It has a very long cord also at 16 foot so you can use it in a lot of hard to get places even inside walls, or car engines if you’re looking to fix something I would highly recommend it and I’m very happy with it. I give it an A+

My last endoscope was over a decade old, with a 3 foot arm. The jump in image quality alone was amazing. Additionally this unit has a lens in the side of the arm for inspecting pipe edges, etc. The image is bright and clear, includes various functions to record and capture what you see, zoom in, rotate, etc. It's a surprisingly great value for the cost. I also found the large display and buttons very easy to use.Yes, I would recommend.

Do you knock something over on top of a bookcase or dresser and fall behind it? Have you had something fall into the couch and make it all the way to the floor? Do you think "I'll get it later," but you never do?I've used this to find those lost treasures! It is simple to use. I just press the power button, the camera lights up, and the picture displays on the screen. It certainly doesn't look like 1080p, but I can easily see things such as a fountain pen, a tie clip, and cufflinks. This is very lightweight and compact. I don't need to use most of the features because simply turning it on accomplishes what I need this to do!Although I received this free through the Amazon Vine program, I think it's an amazing value.

I typically just need this camera for inspecting wall cavities and in that regard it performed well. The buttons were intuitive and I was able to use all but one function without having to read the manual. Only how to switch from the forward to the side facing camera required the manual to figure out. The ability to flip the image was very useful as sometimes the camera ended up upside-down. Charges easily via 5V USB and includes a USB-C/A adapter. The included SD card was a very nice touch, letting me unpack the box and put the camera to use right away.

For it being the price it is, I didn't expect a whole lot, but this is actually a good camera. I honestly just wanted to play with it, but my husband took it over and I fear I've lost it now. He did say that it has excellent clarity and quality, which even surprised him because normally something like this would cost a pretty penny. My husband has a bachelor's degree in Maintenance Technology, several EPA certifications, but right now works as an engineer and electrician for a big pharma brand. Everytime I see some kind of tool or device that seems high tech or cool to me, I get it for him. Normally he shakes his head at me, and that's about it. This time though, he shook his head but has been using it for different things the past few days. He even took it to work and put it in his tool box, so I feel like I'm very accomplished in my life now. 😂 Anyway, I will say the camera or screen part rather, feels cheap and is like a thin plastic, but the picture from the endoscope really is awesome. This is probably the only time I've ever thought something looked cheap, felt cheap and could be mistaken for a toy even, but it's actually a really good endoscope. It piqued the kids interest as well, so who knows, maybe they'll learn something using it too. Overall I think this is a pretty good deal for what it is, because the quality really is surprisingly good.

Update: The company reached out to me with additional information that explains how to switch the camera. From what I can see from the screenshot, apparently there was a reference sheet or booklet that wasn't included in my packaging. In case this happens to you let me just explain what to do, simply hold down the photo button and it will switch cameras. So, now that I know that I will give them that fourth star that I was debating on when I first reviewed it.I have a similar endoscope from a different company that my son is borrowing so when I saw this one, I wanted to grab it. So, my impressions on this scope are more or less positive however there a couple of points that are proving to be a bit annoying the more I use it. Let me say start by saying that there are several things to like about this camera. First, having a simple interface and self-contained program keeps you from having to work with apps or online services. You just use the built-in software and then save the videos or photos to the micro-SD card, which they provide. Set up is simple and straightforward and doesn't take long at all. The quality of the video feed is pretty good, and you can set the amount of light output which can come in handy at times. They include a set of attachments that include a magnetic end, a hook, and a mirror; all of these take a bit of getting used to but there are times when they can be useful. So, with those positives out of the way, I feel that there are some things about this scope that are a bit annoying. First, the line that you play out with the camera on it can get very frustrating to work with. The problem is that its semi-rigid and can get really tedious to direct the way you want it to go. If you are working with something smaller like a pipe or even the barrel of a gun, this won't be a problem. This does get to be a bigger issue when you are working with a space with more area like the crawlspaces or attics of a house. Trying to get the camera to point the way I want, especially the farther out you get, can be all but impossible. I end up using something like a fishing pole or other long rigid stick and then I can sort of make it work - for other times like when there are bends, this won't work either. Secondly, the button interface is ok, but they pack to many options into each button, and it can bet to be a pain to work with at times. Finally, no matter how much I look on the device or in the instructions, I can find no way to switch to the sideview camera on the scope. It's there and you can see it in the sixth photo, but I am unable to switch to it and the instructions don't even mention it. So, I went back and forth between three and four stars for this endoscope but because the things that are wrong with it are getting more annoying the more, I use it, I ended up on three stars. This scope does work pretty well and for the money you can get a nice assist but only for certain applications.
