The Teslong 2MP HD Auto Focus Borescope Camera, with 16.5ft Flexible Waterproof Endoscope and 8 LED Lights was purchased to view tight spaces. More specifically, we wanted to know the contents of a bulkhead without having to replace the drywall. I had a renovation plan and the bulkhead was becoming a thorn in y side. Enter the Teslong Boresvooe camera and my problem now had not one but 3 solutions. I was quite impressed with the structure of the camera as well as the resolution offered. I figured it would probably be some snowy images left open to interpretation but it was just the opposite. The camera provided high resolution images, well lit by the attached led lights. The 16.5 ft. hose gives you enough room to investigate high, spaces, low spaces and anything that is is sandwiched between 2 points. The camera was easy to operate and the app was downloaded in minutes. You’re literally up and at it in 10 minutes or less. The app is easy to use and the hardest part was finding the model, (just scroll almost to the bottom). The Teslong is a practical and useful device particularly for those ‘diy’ers It can be used in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, garage or in your car. Where ever there’s a spot that can’t be easily accessed the Teslong is your go-to.

This endoscope worked as described. I have an Android phone that's about three years old and the app worked fine on it. At first, I did have trouble with the app in that I thought the default device selected was the correct device, but it turns out that it wasn't. After I selected the correct device on the app, everything worked smoothly from there.I used this device to look into the lint vent of my dryer. I wanted to see if it was clogged with lint. This device did give me a good look but I didn't find that the different attachments, such as the hook, worked to dislodge or remove any of the lint. When I got the endoscope, I didn't check to see if the end cap where the camera is, was screwed on tightly enough. After using the endoscope and when cleaning it off, I noticed that the end cap was very loose. Luckily it didn't come off when I was examining the dryer. I'll need to make sure that everything is screwed on tightly before examining other things.

This Teslong borescope is super convenient to use—autofocus works surprisingly well and really helps capture sharp images, especially in tight spaces. The 16.5ft cable is long enough to get into hard-to-reach areas, and the LED light dial gives you a lot of control in darker spots. It’s great for things like plumbing, checking car parts, or even looking behind walls. The app is okay. It should've came with a pouch or something to store and carry in. Overall, a handy tool to have in your kit if you do any kind of inspections or DIY work.

This Borescope outperformed my expectations. I was looking for one of these cameras for various household uses like checking drains, vents, inside/under appliances, rain gutters, etc. When I found this Teslong Borescope and saw the specifications with 2.0MP Resolution, Auto Focus, Adjustable Lighting, Multiple Attachments, USB-C connectivity, and Android compatibility, I quickly ordered one. After receiving, I installed the "Smart Endoscope" app and plugged it in. The app is easy to use and doesn't require an account to use it. The operation of the Borescope is simple, aim the camera and adjust the lighting wheel to whatever you're wanting to get a look at. The picture quality is much better that I was prepared for, providing clear and well detailed images in full color. The auto focus has a 3cm minimum focus that lets you get up close. They also include a few add-ons like a magnet tool, a hook tool, and a mirror tool, all three add function to the camera. This is a high quality Borescope that's a great value and is very useful. Definitely recommended!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this device. I didn't expect it to be this well made. The cable is super long and thin enough to be used in almost any circumstance, including as a bore scope for a firearm. The cable is flexible to adjust however you need it yet stiff enough to retain that position. The kit includes a couple of extra fittings like a mirrored one in case you want to view backwards and a hooked one in case you're trying to recover some keys from a storm grate or something. The auto-focus feature works well. The photos I took of the air vent didn't come out great but they looked a lot clearer while I was viewing it in real time (I probably moved a bit while I was taking the photos). I was hesitant to download an app from an unfamiliar source and I won't just scan anyone's barcode, but I was able to find the app by searching "smart endoscope" in the App Store, so it is legitimate. I included a screenshot of the app in the App Store. I have a larger inspection camera tool but it is not this long, this thin, or this easy to use and handy for taking photos or videos of whatever problem you're trying to figure out. This will come in so useful when I am investigating water intrusion at properties. Highly recommended!

I got this because I knew we had a clog in our dryer duct and I needed to know which end to attack it from as it was too far down for any of the long cleaning wands I had. I installed the app easily and this is so nice and long (longer than the car one we have which is old and it's light and little built in screen sucks so it was not telling me anything) and it has a nice light on it so I was able to figure out where the clog was and exactly where to disconnect the metal hose to get it out before it was a fire hazard. I can see us using this for a lot of things that our car one that is stuck on that old handheld screen just would not be able to do (and cost a lot more than this!).The ONLY thing I worry a teeny bit about is it relying on the charging port of your phone so much, because I know from past experience that if you dislodge that even a little and it gets wobbly, it will effect the phone charging (like your phone will only charge if the port is askew the way it shifted meaning you have to have the cord pulled tight, or it will drop the charge) or cause an internal problem like get too hot, so using it in something complicated where it will get bumped or caught like a car feels a little hinky to ME, but there are also rubber protectors you can buy for your chagring plugs and so if I needed to do something where I am relying on the weight of the whole (pretty heavy) camera scope to be held by just my hand and the phone charging port, completely unfurled, and to need to be moved around an area where it might shift something inside the phone, I would try that to keep it steady with some kind of protector on the connection. It's not a HUGE deal, but it is heavy and I had to really hold it in place to make sure it didn't pull or bend on that port when I was feeding it in to the duct, so that's my only suggestion to the manufacturer (and you in case they don't do it before you buy this) is to try and protect that area when using it and keep it steady because you can mess up your phone putting weight on the port.Overall it is a great tool for places you can't get to and need to see!

A good quality borescope, I'm surprised give the price that it works this well. The video isn't colonoscopy level detail but it's more than serviceable. My only real disappointment is the lack of a storage case like many borescopes with built in displays would come with. This isn't a tool that gets used every day so having to either place it back in it's packaging or find a bespoke case just to store is a bit of a hassle either way.

I like that this option allows independent usage from having its own display and allows you to use a phone. It could be greatly improved by making the lens housing diameter thinner for use in rifles.

this product was delivered today and i put to use right away. the box was pretty compact, there was no cushioning inside like you would from most electronic devices you order online. no styrofoam lining, no cardboard partitions, no plastic mold to hold things in place... i guess they were not needed because the product itself was probably sturdy enough to withstand falls and bumps during transport, and will most likely do the same in active use. the instructions were very easy to follow and was able to install the app and quickly this is a professional grade endoscope, not a child's toy. it is meant to be used with a smartphone... an android i would say as it uses a type C USB, although i think there are adapters if you wanted to use it with an apple phone. but don't quote me on that, better ask their CS. there was even a promo code included so that you can rid of the advertisements in the app which does get annoying with every other app you download from the internet. how cool is that! i put it to work right away and scoped the air vents in our home to check if we needed to have them cleaned soon. it was perfect! the resolution is high definition and no discernible distortions. the built in light can be easily adjusted to suit the surrounding conditions. the scope itself was pretty long, 16ft i believe according to the spec sheet. there were three attachments included which were in a small plastic canister. they can be used interchangeably depending on your goal: there is a hook for when you need to retrieve an object that can be hooked, there is a magnetic one if you need to retrieve small magnetic objects like when you are working in a tight spot in a car for example, and a mirror to see behind the scope camera if you need it that way. this is a great tool to add to my arsenal of tackling jobs in the home as an avid DIYer. you'll feel like a high-tech operative while you use it. the only thing i wish it came with was a carrying case to keep everything together instead of having to keep it in the box. but that is not a deal breaker, i'm sure everyone has a small bag or case that can be used for that purpose. this is an awesome find. i will try to add pictures after i use it a bit more.
