Bolts too long. be prepared to shorten, replace, or shim bolts. Pulley is plastic. Not sure how quality it is. Time will tell. Made the stock belt pretty short but still worked.

This is the second one that I have purchased as the first one's pully wore out after 3 years of low mileage usage. It only shimmies a bit, but the belt runs one "V" off to the outer edge and starts squealing. I ordered, changed, and returned the Idler Pully, the Tensioner Assembly, and the Belt before removing, testing, and realizing that the A/C Compressor Bypass Pulley was worn out/ bad on this part.I hope that this finally fixes the issue.NOTE: I have been looking but I have not found a replacement metal pully as they are 6" in diameter. I could only find 4" in diam. max. (I feel that they should have used a better quality METAL Pully on these from the start as all of the stock Pullys are metal.)

I installed this pulley after my AC compressor pulley seized up. I didn't have ideal working conditions, but the installation was straight forward. Removing the compressor took the most time. I think the project took me a few hours to complete. I found using small vice grip pliers, to hold the serpentine belt in place on one of the other pulleys, made the belt installation easy.The bypass pulley was a perfect fit.

It works and does its job, but it whines like crazy!! The plastic pulley seems awfully, awfully cheap for what this cost. It should not be this noisy considering it is brand new.

Perfectly fits my 1997 F-150 with 4.6L V8. Installed easily and aligns properly with the other pulleys. I've only had it installed for a few days so we'll have to see how long it holds up.

I bought this for my nephew's 1997 Ford F250 when his A/C compressor seized. He did not have the money to replace the compressor, so we figured we would try this bypass pulley. I have to say, this proved to be an excellent decision--clearly cheaper than a new compressor, but also well made and easy to install.
