I wish working was a given, but I have gotten some bad cables from here, so... they work.Cables feel nice, they do have that wonderfully bad new plastic smell, it goes away.I know most lights it feels use 3 pin, but then there are entire companies that only use 5 pin, incorrectly.Maybe someday someone will look up why there are 5 pins, and use all of them.The downside here, is that this only has 3 wires connected, like almost all 5 pin cables, so it cannot be used if you have that rare actual use case for 5 pin.

I realize most devices only use 3 of the 5 cables, but I know the other 2 were made for future innovations. This is advertised with 5 cables, but only 3 of them are actually installed, so keep that in mind. I am not taking a star off for that since the listing does state that. I'm sure it would cost more as well if it had all five, so another reason for not taking a star off. At the time of this review, the 50 foot cable costs $21.The cable works well and has a nice feel. I recommend!5 out of 5 stars.

I don't know why DMX cables are usually so expensive, especially considering they aren't carrying audio signal. So, the price on this is very fair, and the cable works just fine. The connectors are standard stuff, and seem pretty decent quality. The cable itself feels standard and like it'll last; nothing seems cheap about it. So, for a 50' cable, the price makes it a no-brainer.

This is a perfect cable for my application. I have a short run and this connects great to my controller and lights. Quality build and nice length.
