Picked this one because it had the side padding, which can be helpful for baseball too, when getting hit by a pitch. If anything, it gives him confidence to hang in there longer.My son is 11 y/o, 95 lb, 5’2”. We ordered the XL. If I had it to do over again, I’d probably have done the large. This shirt is pretty long, and right now fits him more like a T-shirt than compression shirt. But the good news is that with this being a tad big on him now, I should be able to get an extra baseball season out of it before he outgrows it.He says it is comfortable and doesn’t impact his swing or pitch.

This is a great protective shirt to wear under a uniform for any sport. Comfortable to wear and the padding is thick and will help keep your child safe. My son loves that it also makes him look bigger. lol. Great buy for parents peace of mind and your kids confidence!

My son is 5 and absolutely loves playing football in the yard with dad. I got this for him to wear now so he feels like a real football player. Dad is teaching him his old playbook and he’s learning how to defend and tackle. It’s very well padded, lightweight and made well. I ordered the xs and it fits perfectly.

Nice shirt with good density foam. Will be good for protecting against rib shots at the plate and chest hits. Shoulder pads may also help my little catcher if the ball really gets away from someone.

My son is 6. He weighs about 60 lbs. he’s a little on the bigger size for his age. He currently wears a 10-12 in clothing! He’s very active and races BMX. This compression shirt fits him exactly how we hoped. It is the perfect size. You can see how it fits with his jersey over the compression shirt. We feel a bit more protected with him wearing this while riding.The body parts that get hit the hardest in this sport are the shoulders and hips and this compression shirt has padding in those areas.He has no issues wearing this and doesn’t complain at all which I thought he wouldn’t wear it. It’s smart to protect them as much as possible so having a few of these around won’t hurt.This would be great for all sports or even to make your kids put on while riding their bike around the neighborhood.I wash this in the washing machine and hang dry it! NEVER put these in the dryer or you will damage the padding areas. Always worth the money to protect your loved ones.
