Neve had an issue with Detroit Axle. Put them in all my HD trucks. Last set last 7 1/2 years before I started to have a slight hum.Will keep using these as needed

They went one without a hitch. Fit just like factory. Now things are better because the Detroit axle wheel bearings seem to roll with less resistance. I’ve used them on two of my cars now and they make me feel like it’s a step up each time.

I installed these on my wife's 2009 Cadillac DTS due to a noise coming from the front end of the car. After researching many things I figured this was the problem. I took me about 2-1/2 hours to remove and install them and I am not a ASE licensed mechanic, just novice not wanting to pay $500 to have them installed. You just need the correct metric sockets and wrenches to do the work and patience. I review on a web site video on how to remove and install them and it really helped. Do yourself that favor and watch a video before you attempt to do this yourself.

I had these hubs on my 02 Buick Park Avenue for about a year and roughly 15k miles after which time both of these hubs failed within 500 miles of each other.When I jacked up to the car to diagnose what I thought was a brake problem (the rotor was dragging when making a sharp turn) I discovered that both front wheels had excess play in them and clunked when I shook them in and out. After removing the rotors I discovered metal shavings around both hubs indicating a bearing failure. The bearing failure allowed the wheel and rotor to move which ruined a low mileage set of brake pads and prematurely wore out the outside shoulders of my front tires. Everything was properly installed and torqued to factory spec with a good quality torque wrench. This is the 3rd part that I had fail from Detroit Axle; they will not be getting anymore of my business.

Installed a pair of these on my 04 Montana, direct bolt in with zero issues. Quality is great and haven't had an issue. Shipping was fast also. Deffinatly recomend.

Ordered wheel bearing assemblies as a set. Better price. Free post and package. They both look exactly like the ones on the 02 Century, to be replaced due to intermittent ABS and traction control issues from the original wires leads or harness assemblies.150810: Installed wheel bearings without issue. Solved ABS and traction control problem. No longer have intermittent issues with brake pulse, ABS or "trac off" issues. Minor hum or whine at first after install but soon disappeared after driving to and from work.160603 UPDATE problem came back. Found bad ABS controller harness. Repaired. OK. Road noise went away. Wheel bearings work perfectly.170302 Update. Driver side wheel bearing sensor failed. Ordered 2 new wheel bearing assemblies for better price and will have a spare if the other one fails. These have a 1 year warranty, so I have to purchase new ones.
