I have been a full-time fabricator for the past 15 years and these are by far the best blades ive found. They cut 1/4 steel like butter and out last name brand blades like dewalt.

So, I have tried many cutting wheels from the big box stores, name brand wheels. They all seem to wear down quickly and if you had one shatter on you, it can happen suddenly. I used about 6 of this, because they do cut for some time. I have been cutting 3/8 and 1/2 steel this weekend some cuts as long as 36”, I could get through one cut with one disc.As for shattering, if you hit an angle wrong, I’ve had name brand wheel completely destroyed, these will break on the ends of the disc but you can continue to use it to make the cut. These are excellent cutter wheels in my opinion.I have quite a bit of cutting to do, I have already ordered another box of them.

These were hard to start cutting a straight line even with a guide and then they bounced a lot. I bought a different brand and they work perfectly.
