About this item

  • STRONG PROTECTED. This heavy-duty 7-way RV blade socket is equipped with a spring-loaded dust cover and rubber seal that keep the connection points dry and protected when not in use, ensuring strong, consistent power for miles to come
  • WEATHER-RESISTANT. This trailer wiring socket comes with concealed wire terminals. This helps protect the splice-in connection points for the wires, keeping them safe from dirt, rain, corrosion and other threats
  • RELIABLE CONNECTION. This heavy-duty 7-pin trailer wiring socket comes ready to splice into your existing vehicle wiring. It can be used to connect the taillights, brake lights, reverse lights, turn signals, trailer brakes and auxiliary power
  • VERSATILE DESIGN. This connector makes a great upgrade or replacement 7-way RV blade connector and is interchangeable with virtually any vehicle-side 7-way RV connector. 7-pin trailer wiring is commonly used for towing RV travel trailers
  • DURABLE CONSTRUCTION. For long-lasting use and a reliable connection, the housing of this heavy-duty 7-pin trailer wiring socket is made from durable black plastic that will never rust or corrode

Like trailer hitches and ball mounts, electrical connectors range all over the board in shape, size and capability, but no matter what your trailer's electrical functions are, you need a solid connection to keep the power flowing and ensure safety on the road. CURT electrical connectors are designed and manufactured to give you a reliable connection every time you plug in your trailer. This heavy-duty 7-way RV blade connector is designed to splice into the vehicle's electrical system and supply power for tail lights, turn signals, electric trailer brakes, a 12-volt battery, reverse lights and brake lights, as well as a ground connection. It features rust-free black plastic construction and comes with a spring-loaded cover and water-resistant insert to keep out dust and moisture. This 7-way RV blade connector is a female-end socket, specifically designed for the vehicle side of the connection.

The spring for the cover is strong and looks like it will last. I would have given it a 5 star but the internal components are aluminum. My old one was brass. But that is the sign of the times. Looks well made otherwise. .

Ive had many Curt products, usually nice stuff. This one came with zero hardware and zero instruction. Had to go out to a big box for hardware and thought I could download a diagram from CURT. NO! Thats too much to ask. Prob my last Curt purchase.

Sturdy as advertised. I actually used this as a dead connection to protect my electrical hook up from my trailer when it wasn't connected to the truck. Keeps the connection dry (put on water-proof tape at one end) and corrosion free.

Napa's connectors started at $40 so this was a much better value. As some others mentioned, the back cover that protects the wiring connections doesn't seem to latch real strongly but it may be adequate. Wire connection terminals are marked but in small black letters. (Needed a magnifying glass for my older eyes.) The reason I gave it four stars instead of five was that it came without the 4 hex head bolts you need to mount it to the metal bracket. The separate, universal bracket I bought by the same company did not come with the right bolts either so that meant I had to spend time digging through my saved bolts to find something that would eventually work.

I live how the back half twist off for installation making it an easy install. This is build nice and heavy duty. I like it much better than the other ones I have installed
