These are described as 5% tolerance however testing one is 22% off and the other 18% off (both testing higher than 1ohm). For my purposes this is fine, but be aware if you need more exact tolerances you'll likely need to get a higher quality resister or go through a bunch to find one within spec. The shell seems fine and the leads are decent enough for the price.

Installed on power wheels and dose the job still stops but doesn’t slam on the brakes when you take your foot off the pedal.

I used this resistor to make a capacitor precharger to avoid that spark when making the final connection in a circuit using large batteries. It works perfectly, at least in my application. Solid and well made.

While researching and trial by error, I came across the recommendation to add one of these to my son’s modified Power Wheels Dune Racer. This eliminates the sudden stop when upgrading the stock 12v to 18v-24v, it turns it into a coast roll stop. Highly recommend doing this mod, it is quick, easy, and cost effective.Great product, I would buy more if needed.

This was fairly easy to retrofit to an INA219 sensor board for higher current measurement, specifically on a homebuilt 3S15P lithium battery. By happy coincidence, the sensor can just barely be attached to the resistor.
