This bicolor LED has a superbright pure green LED and a rather dim red LED off to one side. I would like to see the red centered and closer to the green intensity, so may only use as bright greens.

A single clear 5mm LED which, fitted with 3 wire connection, shows a red OR green signal must be a good idea. Presently, although useable with a 3v battery source, red Is a little dim and green is very bright. I’m am aware that using a tiny resistor in line to the anode will address this problem and prevent the possibility of the green LED burning out. Understanding how to match the correct value resistor is ‘Work in progress’ but I will get there 🤨🤔

I've ordered 500 now and they work well. I'm using them at 5VDC at the rated current or less and they work great. The red LED needs a larger resistor (lower current) to balance the light output but this is true for all multi-color LEDs.One negative I won't deduct a star for - about 2% of the LEDs have a black spot on the lens. It does not wipe off or scratch off - it is embedded in the plastic. In my use of the LEDs they are exposed so I have to check each one before installation. I have over 70 on each circuit board.Seller - please inspect product as I consider these to be flawed.

Started with 360K resistors on each LED, but it still appeared green with both sides turned on.I had to increase the green LED's resistance to 3.3K to make it appear yellow with both on.
