Very dim and has no effective ultraviolet output at all, even at very short range (like right on top of things)

Used to replace burned out leds for garden solar lights. One thing noticed about them is they slowly lose their brightness after a summer season. Once the led is replaced with a new one it’s bright again.

I wanted to start out by saying I really did not need 100 leds for this particular project. But for the price, you just cannot go wrong. They worked great for my automotive running light project. They are very bright for UV ( purple ) 5mm leds. They are mounted behind lenses so they are not exposed to the elements. I did need to solder resistors to run them on a 12v setup in series, but that was already anticipated. (Resisters were another Amazon purchase). I am very pleased with my purchase. Now I have plenty more Leds for other future projects and I'm sure I will have many more Amazon purchases in my future. Thank you

I was looking for high output uv leds. Need to cure uv paint. It will take 50 of theese in a panel to do the job.
