This would be a great product for winter games but it’s way to thick for the Texas heat. My son wore it while warming up and took it off because it was to hot. Maybe once winter comes he’ll like it more. Other than the thickness the padding oh the shirt really seemed to help a 6 year old in his first year in pads.

Well not really... I thought this was an adult small...turns out it is too small for my 9 or 13 yo... bummer. Good shirt though I bought an actual adult large from a different seller who makes it easier to see what size you are buying!

we ordered this shirt for under my 12 yr old son's football uniform. He is a very skinny boy and needed a little extra padding for under the regular pads. It says youth small on the tag, but I would say it's more like an adult small. There was no picture of it on the site, so I was a little apprehensive as to what we would get, but it was perfect! The best part was that it arrived only 3 days after I placed the order, so he had it in time for the game.
