Chose a size small for my 8 year old. He typically wears a 7/8 shirt and this fits him great. He says it’s comfortable and wears it every time it’s clean. The pads are thick but not cumbersome and fit nicely under his shoulder pads. This gives him an added layer of protection on his ribs which was our biggest concern. It washes well in and I dry it on medium heat on the dryer with no issues. This is a good quality shirt for a fair price. It’s been worn 1-2 times a week for 4 months now and is holding up great.

This was not tight fitting like my son likes but still is a good product.
