Structure:
The Idle Screw is used to adjust the air intake and adjust the idle speed level, clockwise, tighten, adjust higher; counterclockwise, loosen, adjust lower.
The Mixing Ratio Screw is used to adjust the concentration of the mixture, clockwise, tighten, become thicker; counterclockwise, loosen, become thinner.

If you do not use the machine for a long time, you need to drain the fuel from the carburetor float chamber to prevent gasoline gum deposits from condensing and causing carburetor failure.

It fit my riding mower exactly as expected and it's running great again. The carburetor was well built and came with everything shown there were no leaks when I installed the carburetor with the provided gaskets. Overall I think it works great if you need it for your specific mower.

I bought one of these about a month ago for my Troybilt Pony riding mower. It worked fine at first. But after about a week and a half the float developed a leak and filled with gasoline causing the engine to continuously flood. Thinking that maybe this defect was a fluke, I purchased a second one. The second one was even worse, causing the engine to continuously surge. After wasting nearly $40 and enduring weeks of frustration, I purchased and installed a factory original carburetor, and all of my problems went away. To add insult to injury, Amazon will only allow me to return one of these two defective carburetors.
