If your puddle lights and your side view mirrors are dim or not working at all, I suggest ya try this set before trying to just replace the bulbs. They are fantastic. They are very bright white and light up the ground down the entire side of the vehicle. They are easy to install in just 5 minutes or less and they draw less current when they are on. It's a win win with these puddle lights.

I installed these in a 2014 Ford Expedition as “Puddle Lights”.PROS: Direct Fit Replacement. Much Brighter than factory Incandescent Bulbs.CONS: Considering how long Puddle Lights are actually on, One of the Two installed (at the same time), lasted about one year.I have ordered a second set. I have replaced the failed bulb and left the original replace in place. I will monitor the duration on usage of both bulbs.

My vehicle had original halogen puddle lights, very dim and made the vehicle less “up to date” in my eyes so I decided to go with these and they’re definitely a HUGE upgrade from the original. Add a brighter more modern look. Would definitely buy these again.

Great little light to replace the worn OEM puddle lights. Bought my 2017 Expedition with 100k miles on it and puddle lights were so dim, they were hardly noticeable. Not sure if they are supposed to be that dim or if they were just worn or faded. Photos here show passenger side with the dim factory light and the other is driver's side with the replaced LED light, HUGE difference. Install was a tad tricky...taking the old out was super easy with a small flathead, pull connectors off (you may need to gently wiggle loose with the flathead if connections are a little stuck on). Plug in new light with red and black wires, then to snap it in. The clip that snaps it into place is a little fatter and stiffer than the original. I found that lining up the clip to the groove just right is the way to get it in. I believe that's 180° turned from the way the original was installed. Once it (kinda) snapped into place, it was very flush and looked great. The light output is very good and a huge improvement
