I use these on the thumb levers of my French horns for padding on my thumb joint and a better ergonomic fit for my hand. They work great for this, hornplayer friends!

I ordered these for use with my bass clarinet and they will not fit. Bass clarinet thumb rest is at least 1/2 inch wider than split for these to fit. Had to return.

I bought these for my 11 year old kid playing the clarinet, before we got them he would always complain about his thumb hurting holding the instrument, after we got them he says they work great, they don’t fall out and that they are cushion enough.

This product is very easy to put on and take off, However, it does not slip off while playing your instrument, which is very good. It works well, I just wish it was a little less expensive because they are selling pieces of shaped rubber for $1.25. But other than that, good product.

I was initially afraid that these wouldn't fit my daughter's instrument, but I was pleased to know that they are UNIVERSAL. Its an essential accessory to her instrument and overall good price and quality. Would buy again.

My son has been complaining about the thumb rest on his clarinet and he says this is perfect and feels so much better! I love that it was not expensive and there are plenty extra in case of loss!
