I bought this kit for the yarn. It has a lot of yarn in it.There are 12 skeins of green, 6 of white and 2 of the yellow. It is a soft yarn and easy to work it for knitting. It does seem like if it is handled a lot it may become a little fuzzy. The problem I have with it is that there is not contents on the yarn as in it does not say what it is made of. I think it is probably polyester as I went to the website and tried to match the graphics on the yarn. It also has no care instructions for the yarn. Most of the accessories that come with it are pretty good quality but the scissors do not cut very well. If you plan on making the blanket you will have to use QR codes to get instructions as there are not written instructions included in the kit.

This crochet kit comes with everything you need: yarn, crochet hook, scissors. The yarn is soft and the colors are as pictured. The dimensions for the finished "blanket" are 36" x 28" which is a very odd size. Even if you arrange the squares for 30" x 30" this is a very small blanket. The only positive to the small dimensions is that a beginner probably won't get discouraged because this should work up fast.

….it fuzzes and pills. :( It’s such a cute pattern, but when I made a sample square, I noticed the yarn was fuzzing quite easily. It feels nice to work with, though. I am an experienced knitter and crocheter and have worked with MANY different yarns and patterns over the years.… The written tutorials are helpful; I found it easier to use the diagram for the flower square. The videos are especially helpful for beginners…I just can’t get past the yarn quality, though. When you put that much time and effort into a project, the finished item should look new, not worn. A blanket is going to experience a lot of friction and laundering….The tools included are a nice bonus, especially for someone beginning their crochet hobby.

This kit is excellent. It has everything you need to complete this beautiful blanket. The instructions are a little difficult to understand but there are a lot of videos and written instructions all over the internet on how to crochet a daisy granny square that it won’t be hard to complete. I love this kit so much.

This Crochet Kit is fabulous! It comes with absolutely EVERYTHING that you could need to complete this blanket. If you are a true beginner, you could buy this kit and nothing else in order to begin your crochet journey. You follow the online tutorial to get started, but once you get familiar with the stitches and the pattern you won't need to constantly refer to the tutorial in order to do the crocheting. The yarn is very soft and the colors are so pretty. It was packaged well and arrived quickly. I'll be looking for more of these kits in the future.

This kit arrived and it's a LOT of yarn! There are over 2.3 pounds of yarn, so I think this blanket will be plenty big to make a Prayer Blanket for my church group. It comes with a few things needed to make it, but also, there are QR codes for "Picture Tutorials", "Video Tutorials", and for "Need Help". The "Picture Tutorials" lead to Instagram, where i could see pictures of completed blankets, but there were no tutorials. The "Video Tutorials" were more helpful. They're out of order, but at least they exist. After using the QR code, I found "Rnd 1-Stamen" for the beginning round, I looked for "Rnd 2-Petals" for the 2nd round, and so on. Then, there are also video links for sewing the squares together ordered as "Sewing Method 1", "Sewing Method 2", and so on, but those are for varying ways to sew the squares together, not how it's done when putting the 3rd & 4th squares on. And there are SIX of them. Then there is a video for making the blanket border. The narrator is Asian and has a very heavy accent, so it was difficult for me to understand her, but thankfully, there are closed captions and she shows what to do very, very slowly, so I was able to follow her. I didn't go to "Need Help" because I think the videos will be enough.
