It comes with everything you need to make all these cuties. The yarn seems to be decent quality yarn. My daughter is excited to get started on the project.

I’m an avid crocheter so I can usually figure out a tricky pattern. But it’s awfully hard when the fern pattern is chain 25, single crochet 5, when you have completed all the leaflets, sc6Okay… but how do I make the leaflets? How do you want me to do each edge? Back and forth? Up one side and down the other? The photos are no help! So I give in and check the videos… except there aren’t any for the patterns, just general how to videos for crochet, so that was no help. The rose instructions are marginally better, though they end with “then roll it up” but don’t tell you how to make it stay that way. The succulent doesn’t tell you how to arrange the leaves or fix them to the pot. The two cactus patterns actually seem pretty complete. The hanging money plant is a bit confusing but probably followable, and the string of turtles planet seems to have enough to follow, though they don’t tell you where to attach the flowers other than “to the leaves”.Plus, the instructions such as they are are pdf only. What if you don’t have internet access? I’m cool with video tutorials as an extra, but you should theoretically be able to pull out everything you need from the kit and start working.Now they did include a booklet that covers some more advanced techniques than the stitch guide books usually do. There’s a couple of fasten off techniques, how to crochet edges together, layering pieces and connecting them, and connecting two 3D pieces. It’s a nice little guide book, which only makes me more baffled as to why they couldn’t be bothered to include printed instructions for the actual projects.There’s a couple different main styles of kit yarn, this is the one prone to separating so not beginner friendly. I’d stay away unless you’re advanced enough to intuit what you need to do.If it was me, I wouldn’t buy this seller’s version of a potted plant kit because it has way too many issues. Unless you’re only interested in the plant pots and the plants that have better instructions I guess? But be kind to your beginner crochet friends and don’t give them this one.

Very confusing even with the video and written help. Good materials so I just went and did another pattern with the yarn. I have been crocheting for over 3 years now and I still could not fathom what they are talking about.

Ok, so I crochet little stuff and mainly give them away. I’ve recently taken a few weeks off from it only to return to it & felt I’d forgotten everything. I had to review some things just to catch myself up & remind myself of the basics. But I wasn’t sure what to crochet to help get me goin again. As I was searching thru Amazon, I found this set of Amigurumi beginners. I received them and I loved how easy it was to get myself back into the crochet mode. Plus, aside from how easy it was to follow their instructions the entire set is good quality and fun! I have ideas of many friends & family who will be getting gifts this year. This is a great setup.

This is a very cute series of crochet plants kit to make. I was excited to open the bag, it contains everything to make these little wonders. Lots of yarn, seems more than enough to make everything on the menu. It has 4 little bags of stuffing, a 2.5mm crochet hook (surprisingly well aligned, ergonomic), some stitch markers, safety eyes, and darning needles. Also, a booklet about basic crochet stitches and tips for beginners and a couple of mini cards with encouraging notes if some of the adorable plants are gifted away. The yarn is a standard light dk milk cotton, exactly the one I love to make amigurumi from.I had some technical problems to access the pattern and the video, I had to reach for the assistance of the seller. Thank you for the fast, friendly and exceptional customer service!The PDF instruction is very detailed, illustrated with many pictures about the steps. The video tutorials are clear and can be easily followed. This is a well assembled crochet kit, I will have a delightful time to make these little, decorative potted plants. Thank you so much.
