The GuidePRO GP7 Extension Kit offers a 4 inch extension for the GuidePRO Gp5, bringing the total length of the feather to 10 inces. Great addition to Bow base, but there is no clip in or positive lock to join two and top deflects very poor engineering. There should be a clip in effect or positive lock mechanism. So when mounted mounts securely rather than deflecting.

This featherboard extension makes it easier, safer and more precise while resawing boards over 10" tall. I should have purchased one long ago!

If you are doing tall resaw work, and you already have a tall fence, this works great with the bow featherboard and anchor bar setup.It is a pretty expensive featherboard kit, but there are no other options that have this kind of capability.I use this with my Laguna 18 BX, and it works great, I've done about 15.5" tall resaw using this, and it worked very well.
