These replacements are necessary for maintaining the handy portable band saws from DeWalt, Milwaukee, Harbor Freight. The original ones will crack and fail, rendering the portable hacksaw unusable.

I didn't use my band saw very often but the problem that I had about the blade coming off has been resolved just after the installation of the new tires.

i'd left my blade tensioned for a week or so and it was quite warm where i had it stored, so when I went to use it, the tire rolled and got destroyed. I searched online for replacement tires for my HCB79B, but no luck. I found these on Amazon, and for the price I figured they were worth a shot. They fit perfectly, were easy to install and work great so far. I'll update the review later if there are any issues.

Bought these on the recommendation from a review online that these also fit the Harbor freight portable band saw, and they were an exact match, used a silver sharpie and marked the side of the rubber tire where there are at least 3 slots. And marked the side of the pulley 3 times to show where the teeth are, just so they don't slip of the marks when you stretch the tires on, then once there on wiggle them back and forth with your fingertips till the slots in the tire lock on to the teeth.

Bought these to replace bands on my Harbor Freight Bauer saw (they offer no replacement parts!). Bought it, even though not sure it would fit. It is a perfect replacement! Very well made, supple, and extremely easy to install. Excellent value.
