lost a ring down the drain and this let me find exactly where it was in the pipes. It is also good for getting a look at the inside of my engine where I cannot get to easily. It is easy to use and has a great picture.

Wanted something to check out how dirty my dryer vent was. The dryer is in the garage but they had the vent route to the other side of the house. The cable out of the box was difficult to manage as it was super long. But once you had straightened it out it was ok to use. Battery life was sufficient for my purposes and like how it is USB rechargeable. Only issue I had was that the screen brightness could have been better but, I used this during the middle of the day and it was super bright outside. For the price it is good to get a look in tight spaces.

My old reliable Subaru had recently been having some performance issues so I wanted to check out the gaskets around the engine bay and inside the spark plug chambers. I previously had something similar to this unit that just had a USB C connection on the end and while it was convenient, this time I wanted something that was entirely self contained.The good:This unit seemed like an overall economical choice and honestly surprised me with how well it worked. There is plenty of snake length to reach tight spaces and the lights are powerful enough at any of the 3 settings to provide a clear image. It was fast to charge and I only lost one bar of battery after using it on and off for about 2 hours. The image is very clear for being only 1080p and has good contrast between tones. It does take a little getting used to the operation, as moving the snake can change the orientation of the image on the screen depending on how it is aligned.The not so good:Only real complaints I have is with the handle. It is advertised in the description as ergonomic. It is basically just a stick that you hold onto. Sure, the handle has some ridges in the plastic to help with grip, but for true ergonomic design could have either incorporated a pistol-type grip or some silicone/rubber padding.If I could add another feature, it would be the ability to take screenshots/video. Since this is a self contained unit with no memory card, you have to take a picture/video of the screen itself, which may be difficult depending on how many hands you have available.
