Awesome FR jacket for the money. They do run slightly big, so you can wear over a regular jacket if it’s cold. The hood is very large, I can fit it over my hardhat rather than under it, possibly by design? I wear 2 hooded jackets if I need FR in the cold, the first one goes under my hardhat and this one goes over my hardhat. I’m never cold.

Husband bought to wear at work. He says it keeps him warm and he would recommend. He bought a size up to fit over his uniform.

in the winter, i pretty much like to dress comfortably and i happen to like the cold, so having a hoodie i can just throw on and be in compliance with plant requirements has always been a priority. no, this isn't going to keep you super toasty in hypothermic conditions, but if you're looking to keep from having to buy a ridiculously expensive coat, it's easy on you AND your wallet to just pick one of these up and throw on a quality base layer or two. you can keep the wind from freezing your ears off but not be overheating and breaking a sweat after climbing a tower, and i should mention, the cheapest alternative to this from another competing company was the last one i owned, and it cost me twice as much.

I work in the arctic and FR is required. This was by far the best value that I have found and the quality is hardly different in comparison to Carhart FR. They usually have 1 color on sale too so at $40 you cannot beat it. I also love their long sleeve FR shirts. They are soft, comfortable, and durable. Definitely recommend and I will be buying more anytime I am in need.

The quality is good. It loses a lot of interior material in the dryer. It is true to size plenty of room overall pleased with this purchase.

I like the sweatshirt. It’s definitely warm enough. I. Normally wear a 2xl because I put a bunch of layers underneath to stay warm. I should have sent this one back for a size smaller. I barely caught my pocket on a scaffold pan hook and ripped my pocket day 1. Super bummed cuz FR is spendy and I buy my own gear for comfort and because nomex’s suck to take off in a Biffy. The hood is a little too large and baggy. Otherwise I like the sweatshirt it’s soft and warm.

The FR Hooded Zipper Sweatshirt did well on my weekend shift of Welding. Ordered a medium size, since it's a big and tall sized sweatshirt. Fit great. Zipper works well. Heavy and warm sweatshirt. Did great in the pouring rain! Got wet on the outside but didn't get wet on the inside. No water touched my arms, chest, or head. This is what I hoped for. An easy on / off FR Hooded Sweatshirt that kept me warm, dry and not burnt. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who needs a FR welding Sweatshirt!!
