This product is exactly what I needed. It’s sturdy and fit perfectly on my existing seat and into the existing post hole. I didn’t use the base plate but the price for the whole set was better than other options. Very easy to install.

This boat set kit is very solid and simple to install. The plate matches the size of other boat seat plates. The pole is a good height for folks 5'8" to 6'4". The top plate is easy to slide in and out to use the seat as needed. The spring works for its purpose and absorbs most of the motion.

This kit arrived in new condition and packaged in a branded box. I could find no instructions inside, just a bifold slip of paper that shows the other products they offer. The material that these pedestals are made of feel very solid. Installation looks pretty straight forward and performable without instructions as far as just the basics are concerned. Also, they do not include hardware for installation.
