After being mounted either one of the two parts is bent and will not slide. This is my third seat I have mounted the other two worked fine.

The product works great for me. As seen in pictures I didn't use the rear channel due to the fact that you would have to tilt the seat and bracket more than 90 degrees before it would come out of the front channel. Instructions were included though not needed as it is a quite simple install. It slides with ease when not sitting on the seat and locks in place when you are. Perfect setup for our 12 foot jon boat, I only wish I had purchased this a few years ago, but I was on the fence after reading some of the 1, 2, and 3 stars reviews. Anyway it's 5 star for me and I wouldn't hesitate to buy more as needed.

Very easy to install. Just had to file down some sharp edges. I made sure that my seat base was not tight in the brackets so that it would slide easily. I apply silicone spray on occasion so that the seat always slides nicely.

Overall it's made well, However bolt length and nut height are critical to get this to work as intended. The hardware while stainless is not correct - meaning you'll need to purchase many additional flat head phillips etc. In my particular application I had to place an 1/8" x 2" extruded aluminum flat under the keeper bad in order that the nuts holding the wise seat quick disconnect would not interfere with the boats bench seat. I also had to switch to jam nuts from self lockers to get the clearance needed to make it slide well. It's going to require additional engineering on your part with significant added expense (it will double the cost). But now I'm happy with it.

Helping seat slide: Smooth ALL edges with 800-1000 grit sand paper. Wipe clean. Apply a little bearing grease with a Q-tip to rear rail under where plate slides. Found placing washers aprox. 1/8 Inch thick under back rail helped. Without them, sliding plate is at an angle causing it to bind, hindering its sliding. Clean front slide channel and apply a little bearing grease with Q-tip to inside of slide channel. Get out of seat to slide it to a new position.Hardware: I also was shorted a bunch of screws( 6 to be exact ), so go to ACE hardware and buy what you need. The aluminum Bench seat on my boat has a rounded edge and front rail fit perfectly, all screws worked just as designed. I am now pleased with this installation. Could have earned 5 stars if all screws were there, if edges had been sanded and washers (spacer) not required or atleast supplied, for rear rail alignment.

Rails and mount are Great but will need a little cleaning up as they have some really sharp edges and weren't finished very well. The screws they give you aren't enough to account for the mounting holes which i thought was strange. But all in all decent product and will be buying another hopefully with all the mounting hardware. Would have been a 5 star but i feel they should of made sure and the screws are there.

a bit tight on the seat as far a clearance goes when sliding. otherwise - great, i'm ordering another one.
