These small imitations of midge pupa are amazingly effective, whether fished under a hopper or indicator, or as the point fly on a multiple fly nymph rig. Midges can be fished year around and are especially effective in the winter when there is very little other aquatic bug activity. QUICK TIP: Use 6X or 7X Tippet, which will allow your Midge fly to swim naturally.

GARBAGE- these zebra midges are falling apart straight out of the package. Try using them on the water and pretty soon you’ll have nothing but a bare hook
