Pat's Rubber Legs were designed by Pat Bennett, a guide on Idaho's Henry's Fork of the Snake River River in the 1990's. The fly imitated the stonefly nymphs that were the predominant food of the huge trout in the Box Canyon stretch of the Henry' Fork. The original patterns have evolved with today's emphasis on indicator nymphing and Euro style nymphing. It pays to have a selection of colors in your go-to fly box!

They get down in fast water pretty well and the trout love'em. Have caught and released a few in the 24+ rannge and many in the 16 to 18. I use a 2 nymph system and these work well...
