I have this set up in my loft right under my wall mounted attic access. Perfect number of steps to get the 3 ft up into the hatch. Matches my styling great since I have other industrial decor in the room. Looks right in place mounted on the wall. I hung a blanket on it when its not being used and that works perfect to make it blend right into the room. Would work awesome even just as a blanket holder in a living room or reading room. Really versatile product. Really strong too, 3/4" steel, I'd just use stronger anchors, I hate the included ones haha.

ordered this ladder to access a weird nook area in a guest room, and it was exactly the size needed. It is so sturdy once installed. It saved having to build steps or anything else. Love it!

Reminds me of some nice vacation homes I've stayed in with this sort of hardware on bunk beds. The powder coat is a really nice touch. I was surprised to find all the pre-assembled joints are spot welded in place for extra ... not sure what because they could not come unscrewed once installed. In fact, that was a disappointment because I wanted to use the parts more spread out but this will do nicely just the same. It'll take any load you can throw at it. Mine came with some defects in the powder coat, sad to say - where it was likely resting when it was sprayed - not visible on the bottom of the top rung, but then there was a scratch in it on the top of the top rung. No biggie to me but it might really bug someone else... thus the missing 5th star... Other than that this egress ladder is all you could hope for.
