The purpose of attaching the trunnion to the table is to keep the blade in the same place so that the top of the table doesn't move side-to-side with respect to the blade as it's tilted. You can control the accurate angles of your table to make the perfect beveled cut. This 14" delta band saw trunnion 2-piece kit can be used to refresh old wood band saws to provide better toughness support and smooth control of your tilting table at different angle. These 14" delta trunnions has 3 bolt holes for mounting to ensure that it is fixed on the workbench without wobbling for the table smoothly tilts. Manufactured for 14" band saws, this mechanism allows the table to be set at an angle. This allows for a variety of bevel or angled cuts. After the table has been adjusted to the desired angle, it is locked in place with a trunnion lock. The machined bevels are perfect. This 14" band saw trunnion support has three bolt holes for mounting, and three bolts stabilize the trunnion under the table, making the table tilt smoothly. Didn't fit exactly. They were too narrow inside so I had to grind down the piece that futs inside them but it works good now.

I bought an old reliant bandsaw and one of the trunnions was broken. The originals were cheap pot metal.The fit and finish on these new ones is perfect and made with real metal!!! And the delivery was next day!!!

I would guess that if you own one of these 14 inch saws you have the tools and abilities to maintain it. These are great, smooth working,, and fit the mounting holes in the table well, however, you are going to have to fit them.The flanges are a bit thicker. I used 3/4 socket head cap screws to mount them.,Both pieces had minor casting marks inside that would have interfered with table movement, so a few minutes with a dremmel was in order.The slot which holds the captive nut keeper / mating part is Bout .030 undersized. I used a belt sander to adjust the mating part.Using cap screws to mount the table let's you put it together loose and let the saw be the alignment jig for the trunions. Tighten it up with a ball head allen wrench afterwards.Smooth and works great. Better than original. The alignment between the two trunions is good so no twisting or rocking.Count on a couple of hours for a better saw than when you started.There are no angle markings. But who really uses them anyways.

Might require a little bit of fitting to make is slide depending on the bushing insides fit. Had roughly 5 minutes of fit and it worked wonderfully!

The price was good. They are sturdy. However, quality control is not good. I had to do some mild grinding to get the bolts to fit and the slides to work. So if you are up for some grinding or filing, go for it.

Sliding bolts needed slight sanding to fit, but the heavier casting means this table is now far less likely to break again.
