I bought a cheaper version by another manufacturer and that was a mistake. My first trip out in my boat after installation, the stand base broke nearly throwing me into the lake. This time I bought these Attwood brand and they are much better construction. I’m better off by paying more for better quality!

The description says all mounting hardware included. Mine does not include any hardware.update: I called Amazon about this and they discounted the product enough to cover my costs to buy the parts needed. so now 4 stars as all is well and the items are genuine

I had older seat mounts on my fishing boat and was able to replace them with the EZE lock-n-pin. If you are looking at these and don't have existing seat mounts, just bare in mind that you have to drill a large hole for the seat mount. Also, I read reviews where the post gets stuck. I remove the posts from my seat at the end of each day, so haven't had that issue as of yet - I also took advice and used wax around the pin.

This set is strong and stable and added another layer of comfort while we are out fishing. I like the fact they lock into place but are still pretty easy to remove. Fit and finish on aL the parts is excellent and mounting was easy after I got over the idea of drilling a whole in my boat!
