I have a 2019 Ranger 188P. The front seat is slightly too close to the trolling motor foot control. I thought this post would be the perfect solution. It is not, because the threads will not lock the seat in the correct position. It only lock CLOSER to the foot control. You can leave it loose and fish like you are on carnival ride, but that gets old quickly. An easy design change with thread and spacers would fix this problem, but Iām not an engineer. I cannot recommend this product.

Not 13" in height. Was going to use it on a Wise double seat for spider rigging. It measures 13 3/4" tall.Returned it and went with another Manufacturer.

I was skeptical about how this would fit and my skepticism was correct. It has an o-ring on the shaft, not 100% sure why they did that. Took it off initially and the offset had my seat closer to the front of the boat versus the back. So I put the o-ring back on and then the the offset wouldn't catch the threads. Had to push down to actually make contact with the threads. Once I started screwing it in I got to where the offset was how I needed it but I could still tighten more. Figured I go with it and go fishing. Well after a day on the water and the offset loosening every time I turned my chair, I was pretty much disappointed with the product. I haven't tried it on the aft post. Maybe next trip. If I have the same issue, I will probably return it. I have a Tracker Pro 170 2020 Model.

Decided to place two front seats in my Ranger bass boat to spider rig for crappie and this 6ā offset works great.
