I ordered these stainless pipe couplings to insert into the grab bar around the windshield on my boat. My intention was to fold down the windscreen and the rail in order to fit the boat in a garage. However, my plans changed and I didn't use these for that. I'm holding onto these and will eventually do something with them. They feel very well made and would have worked beautifully for my application had I needed them.

Good fit, very little play in the joint. I machined one out to fit a grommet so that when it closes it has a rubber seal to add pressure for less play when locked in place. Beauty polish on these, ordered a few extra and im glad that i have them in stock.I plug weld the set screws and fully weld and polish the socket joint, has a nice look to it.
