I own a 2000 SeaRay 185BR with a Taylor windshield. I broke one of the walk through windshield latches. These were a perfect replacement, however the machine screw that comes with these latches was not required. I used the bolt and nut from the broken latch which had the same diameter hole as these to secure the new windshield latch.

While the item itself is fine, it comes with 1 short screw and 1long screws and I need 2 shorts screws so now I have to go out and buy a screw.

Read the reviews and was cautious about the screw length. Added a thin rubber washer to compensate. Drilled loose rivets and replaced with these Taylormade hinges. Took about 5 minutes total install.

They installed easily- just position them carefully and don't over tighten- they need to turn with very little effort but be tight enough not to vibrate loose. Good quality.

Smaller than my old ones , guess it works the same on the function have some plastic or hard rubber spacers handy to get a snug fit if needed.
