I’ve ordered similar water reader kits like this one in the past. However those were not meant for continuous submersion. Nor did they include the hooks for the reader, or o ring for the probe. This kit includes all of that…and the testing solution for recalibration if needed.Straight out of the box, it was accurate in the PH reading- without any pre-calibration. (I tested it against my milwaukee ph probe). As far as temperature, it was within 0.5+~ in accuracy.Installing the hooks was easy, the only challenging part is the o ring that does not want to go over the probe because it’s just a tad too small. I’m going to run some hot water over the ring to get it to stretch. As far as value goes, I’m quite impressed with this unit as I’ve paid far more for sensors that do the same thing. I’m considering outfitting my other tanks with one of these!Good to note: the power adapter is UL stamped. The instruction booklet is well written and easy to read and understand and includes diagrams

Cycles quickly though the different options. Salt/TDs - pH/ORP - temp/humidity, with just rhboush if a button. Parameters out of the box are in line with what I measure manually. I did. Calibration fluid is provided and easy to use with supplies cups. Wifi is where it gets sketchy. I utilize this at work and we don't have 2.4. I do have another tuya pH monitor at home where I do have a 2.4gh network and it quickly pairs up to the app there.

Purchased this to monitor my 120gal saltwater reef tank while traveling remotely. Easy to set up and calibrate using included solutions for salinity and pH - out of a bit of paranoia, I cross-tested with my existing testers for the first 2 weeks and discovered everything was very accurate. I LOVE getting current stats on my phone app, whether in my bedroom, office, or on the road. I have a neighbor who can go next door and deal with any issues for me, and at least once, it was a big help because the temperature went low - she went over and found that the heater had stopped working because its plug had slipped loose from the outlet. The only real issue I have is with no support for wifi other than 2.4 ghz - even though that is common with a lot of home automation stuff. Overall, I love this thing and the piece of mind it gives me when I am away from home is remarkable. Highly recommended!

This remote monitoring meter is an excellent addition to my Koi quarantine tank. I previously would have to go to the tank to measure parameters individually and manually. Now I have continuous monitoring that I can follow on my phone Tuya Smart app. I can follow salt, TDS, pH, ORP and temperature with a simple tap on my cell phone. The meter comes with calibration solutions, making setup very easy. It works on wifi, so I can easily log in for readings. I can custom-set warning levels so that I alerted if a parameter am watching is too high or low. This could also be used in an aquarium. This provides true peace of mind allowing me to check on my (sick) fish any time I want and is a great value.

This is a very nice monitor. One thing I would like to note is that the probe is pretty big, as you can see in the pics. If you have an AIO, like me, it can be hard to place. With a sump, no big deal. The app is clunky, but works. I had no issues connecting this to my WiFi. It’s not laboratory accurate, but for hobby use it’s close enough. It will be interesting to see how long the probe lasts submerged in saltwater 24/7. So far, I think it’s a great value for what you get!

This digital electronic water tester gives me a precisely accurate way of testing my aquarium water. I can monitor key parameters like salinity, total dissolved solids, pH, and more - and I can pair it with your cellphone now Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and monitor those same parameters. Very cool! This tester comes pre-calibrated so you can just drop the sensor into the water and go! It also includes bottles of calibration solution should you ever need to recalibrate. My only complaint is that I feel like the body of the tester could be WAY smaller.Absolutely awesome product!

For the price it’s decent, fairly easy to use, salt meter really doesn’t work. I checked it against my refractometer, it was about 2 points off, so I just adjusted my upper lower range accordingly. After 3 days, it just keeps telling me the salinity is dropping. I went from what it was reading at 30 down to 20 in 2 days. I checked the tank with my refractometer, and it hasn’t changed at all. The temp is also 1.5 degrees off (I have 2 other gauges reading correctly) what I did actually buy this for was the PH, which this does read correctly, as I verified with individual testing. There is also ORP &TDS, which seem like they might be correct, but I’m not sure as those are not high on my list of values needed. But for $80 it’s nice to see the PH on my phone. I did look for just salinity monitors, and those are running close to an average $170, so I don’t think there’s much to complain about here, but 3 stars if you’re expecting all this offers to be 100%.

I have yet to use the app but I am very happy to have picked up this in situ water testing monitor. At a quick glance I can easily see how everything is going in my tank. The only way it could be better is if it had an ammonia ion selective electrode built in but that is an easy test that is just a dip away. This meter is super easy to use, is an excellent value, and is seems to be fairly accurate (within about 3% of my other testing equipment). In the short time I’ve had it, it seems like it is fairly durable and secure to the tank. All in all, it’s pretty good. I work in a lab, so my access to calibration fluids is better than some, but others will have to order more after a month or so. Keep that in mind when buying this equipment. I certainly recommend this product for your tank, freshwater or salt. It is very good.
