The AquaLatch gate latch can be installed for left or right swinging gates; see installation instructions for details. The AquaLatch gate latch features a top pull design for added safety so that children cannot reach the latch to open it. The AquaLatch has the "Safe-Alert" feature - a red stripe under the top pull tab that is visible only when the gate is not latched. The AquaLatch comes with everything you need for installation, including the latch, instructions and all fasteners. This latch requires a gate gap between 1/2 inches and 2-1/2 inches. On peut immédiatement savoir si la porte est bien fermée en regardant si on voit la collerette rouge en dessous du bouton pressoir. On peut la voir de très loin donc pas besoin de se déplacer pour vérifier si la porte est bien fermée.

Allowed us to meet local permit pool barrier requirements for small children safety.The deck gates had to be 48" and the latch 54" from bottom of the gates. Latches are easy to operate from both sides of the gate.Without using the key, you can only unlatch when the top tab is pulled up and gate pushed/pulled. And you can lock latches with key to make the tab inoperable.Yes it has plastic parts so you are aware. I'd buy again.

I got it in so fast and passed code inspection. It was easy to get it lined up and there are ways to adjust it after you have committed to the hole locations. It's amazing how easy it is to open from the top and how it latches so solid to prevent the kids from pulling it open. I bought a round post kit to got with this as I was installing on chain link fence. I'm not super handy but I figured it out. A cordless drill is a must and that's about it!

This was perfect for what we needed. It attached very easily to our wooden pool gate and was high enough that none of our grandchildren could open it without help. It is pretty sturdy also and I am glad I purchased this model.

This was about the best price for one of these pool safety latches. It was easy to install with a cordless screwdriver and a small drill bit to pilot drill the holes, came with Keys to lock it.Works great
