9-layer Sponge--Removable
AQQA sponge filter with 9-layer ribbing shape sponge design, combines bio-filtration, oxygenation and physical filtration in one. You can take down the sponge from the filter easily to clean or replace it. We give an extra pair of sponges, Note: before replacing the sponge, soak the sponge completely.
Ceramic Bio Filter Balls
Ceramic bio filter balls help with further filtration of hazardous substance, and at the same time cultivate nitrifying bacteria. You can also replace the ceramic ball with other filter materials such as activated carbon etc.
360° Rotatable Outlet
The outlet pipe is extendable and the outlet is 360° rotatable. You can adjust the outlet according to the size of your tank and your needs.

It was great until it wasn’t. Filter just stopped working, nothing wrong with it that I could tell/find. I was lucky enough to have a back up filter but I sometimes have to travel a day or two for work (occasionally a week) and I can’t imagine what that would have done to my tank.

I got it for a snail tank when I was selling snails. It worked fine for a while. Went to plug it in today and it did nothing. Gonna try it with an air pump I guess.

Clears up water very quick. Pretty quite as well unless you use a air tube for the waterfall bubbler but that is to be expected. I just wished I could find the correct size sponge filter.

I was so happy. This filter is not loud and looked like it worked great. Sad part it quit working after a year. I unplugged it to clean the tank and it never came back on. Good product for the price, I wish it would work longer though.

I like that it comes with two sponges, and two little canisters with bio media for it. I use this in conjuction with another sponge filter, and seachem bio media in the filter. I wish the flow rate is higher, but it will do. I mainly wanted this to be another source for beneficial bacteria to grow. Having additional bio media rocks is definitely a plus. The instructions was pretty straightforward. One thing lacking if if you want to connect airhose to it to increase oxygen in the aquarium like I do, it doesn't mention it at all. I happen to see a video of airpump connecting to it, and that's when I saw where to connect the airhose to. I am happy with it so far.

If your tank is simple and roomy, great. If not, don't bother, shipping is crummy, tracking doesn't update correctly, expensive, large. 🤷 Unless you love the way this looks, I can't recommend it... I don't even use it

This looked promising at first, perhaps I received a faulty unit, but, it could not keep a small tank clean and it completely stopped working after only 2 months of use. I would not recommend this filter.

I bought one M and one S.They're kinda bulky. But they're sponge filters so that's expected.After opening and assembly, first think I noticed was the suction cups were poorly formed. It doesn't stay in place too well. I have used the filter how for 15 days. It doesn't have the volume of flow to adequately filter a tank the sizes they're claiming. The small claims 70 gph and I'd be surprised if it's even 30. The large is only claiming 80 gph and I swear the smaller is kicking MORE water around that the large does.Lastly the small one is already making impeller whirl and whine. I've pulled it apart and made sure no sand or debris got in, it's clean and is making grinding noises in 15 days.Would not recommend this. Just buy a sponge filter and add your own pump. They've used the smallest cheapest pumps they can find and it shows. The concept is cool, the tubes and hard parts are good, the bio balls and sponges are nice, but it needs more flow and a better quality pump.Starting processes for refunds. Between the costs of the pair of these I could have gotten a smaller canister filter.
