Works like a charm, used it for animatronic purposes not a vehicle. it comes with the metal "arm bracket" on the motor. If you drill out the knob from the back of the arm bracket it is perfect for attaching whatever bracket you need to it.

Thanks to Kevin N for figuring out this motor does not wire up to a power adaptor as expected. Black wire ground is easy to figure out but could not get power. Saw his review to couple low or high power to black on negative and put the red 12v to positive and now the motor works fine!

I dont usually write reviews, but I had to explain on this because I almost sent it back for not working, but after troubleshooting, and curiosity, it actually works perfect as a motor for my Halloween project. First off, tried hooking up like all the videos I've watched, and it would not power on or turn. After looking at the wires, my basic electronics brain came to the conclusion black is ground from the wiring to motor. Then proceeded to test each wire to negative. After frustration set in as to no power from any of the wires, decided was going to send back for a return and get another motor since the other reviews for this product was negative. Then out of my stubbornness to quit and curiosity, I decided to give it one more try, to get it to work. I don't know if its backwards, but you need to connect the black and red wire like you would for positive and negative, and piggyback the yellow or green wire to the black, depending on what speed you want. GREEN is LOW speed, and YELLOW is HIGH speed, and it works. I know it sound backwards, but it works now. So, connect the RED wire to positive, BLACK wire to negative, or reverse, whichever makes sense to you, and also connect the GREEN wire for LOW speed, or the YELLOW wire for HIGH speed to BLACK wire for this motor to work. I also used the same power supply that was recommended with this product.

Should have listened to the other reviewers saying this item was dead on arrival others said even the second one was dead. Absolute junk don't waist your time having to return and or install you will probably also get a dead item.

This wiper worked great when connected correctly like others have mentioned. I adapted this motor to a custom wood post I built which allowed me to swing my prop back and forth. I also used a 6V power supply to slow it down a bit rather a 12V. I bought this to use for a garden tractor mowing deck height, but the shaft design didn't work with the coupler that requires a cut and longer shaft for a slotted coupler. I didn't know this when I bought it and should have returned it. But I deleted some wires trying to use it and can no longer return it.
