all wiper speeds work well, including intermittent. I overtightened 1 motor screw and the hole stripped easily so be careful, the aluminum(?) is soft.

When this wiper motor arrived, I opened it and examined it. It looks just like the oem motor.Since we have many of these Mustangs, this one wasn't being used because of the windshield wiper issue. In order to remove the defective motor, the entire upper firewall needs to be disassembled. Since this is a rather extensive effort I waited for a day when Summer was over, but we still had warm weather. Once I removed the original unit, I was able to see that while the new motor was the same size and shape, the wiring harness is different. The entire assembly must be removed before the wiring harness can even be seen, let alone removed.In any event, when I called to set up the return and refund, Amazon is charging me a $5.77 restocking fee because I waited more than 30 days. Apparently it costs ZERO to restock incorrect merchandise up to 30 days, but magically on the 31st day, it costs $5.77.Temp has a better return response.

The wipers stopped working on my 2003 Ford Escape. For an older car, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money fixing it and this was the least expensive motor I could find. I. I had no idea what the wiper motor even looked like, but Amazon said it would fit my car, so I took a chance. It got delivered Saturday evening and I put it in Sunday, thanks to some helpful YouTube videos.I should say that I’m not a mechanic by any means, but I was able to install it in my driveway with just a few basic tools.It was a perfect fit and works great. I would say it took me about an hour or so, but now that I’ve done it once I could probably do it and half the time if I ever had to do it again.
