Can't speak to quality or longevity. Have 3 1997 F-150s in the family - 2 different engines, 2 different cab/bed configurations. These don't fit any of them. The listing says they fit all 1997s, Interestingly enough, today the Amazon garage filter says they do not fit. When I ordered them, 3 months ago, the Amazon garage filter indicated they did fit my vehicle. Also, a warning has been added to the listing indicating that there are a lot of returns of this item. Perhaps, fitment issues are why.... just guessing. Unfortunately, since we didn't discover the fitment problem within the 30-day return period, I'm out the cost for these and had to buy locally to get replacements quickly -- double whammy.

Here i am less than a year later shock shopping again after purchasing these... Regular road use but man do they jingle now. 2003 Ford f150 4wd

They fit my 1999 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4 5.4L V8 2 valve supercab running 285/75/16R's☝🏻If you are having any doubts like I did, believing you might buy the wrong ones because some information is different than what you saw online or hanes manual vs what someone else worked on and videoed on YouTube, know if you have the same set up as me... It fits 100%. It's a pretty easy ordeal here to swap them. No bolts come with it to replace the bottom that goes to the shock to A Arm, I reused mine but Ford recommends you replace it, but does include rubber bushings and washers. Simple enough and they helped my truck ride better

They work.... you get what you pay for. They dropped my stock stance by at least 3in. I'm definitely replacing these with better ones
