I purchased this product due to the fact that it said it was solid steel and I really needed that to replace one I bought on marketplace that was hollow. It was broke within a week from all of the boys and girls to play at our church.This rim However has stood the test of time and still does.The only fault I would give it was the net came off in the front like right away, because the loops that they have to attach the net to, do not hold it tight. The net that came with it just slides through those attachment loops. Other than that I absolutely love the rim.

Have always used Gared rims, thought this was an adequate substitute...NOT. Many sharp edges caused many cuts on hands of kids. NOT RECOMMENDED! Just ordered a Gared and will throw this one in dumpster, waste of money.

Do NOT purchase. This rim is not actually 18 inches but rather 17.5 inches. I only realized when I went to put an attachment. Amazon would not offer replacement because past date.

Happy with basket other than several bolts are missing washers and nuts to assemble. Disappointing to pay this kind of money to not have all parts in the packaging.

I purchased a pair of these to donate to a church hall our basketball team practices at. The original rims were bent and did not have the type of steel reinforcement these do so if you’re looking for non-breakaway rims, these are heavy and seem to be well made.
