Works on the grinder to replace the guard that the guys at work removed on ours to get it into a tight location. Then lost our guard before putting it back on the grinder.

I bought this to convert to a Type 1 guard. So the first thing I did was check thickness so I could weld on some sheet to the other side. It was very apparent it's thinner than the OEM guard. This one is only about 18g. I'll still use it, but I expected similar materials as OEM.
