Angle Finder Features and Uses

Angle Finder 4 Measuring Outside Angles

Measure Inside/Outside Angles

Find almost any inside or outside angle. The degree scale is easy to read, marked in 1-degree increments, and accurate from 20-170 degrees inside or outside. Great for measuring bent tubing, sheet metal, and general construction and fabrication.

Effective Rule and Layout Tool for Sheet Metal Panels

Ruler and Layout Tool

Find precise angles, use as a straight edge, and layout bend locations accurately on your sheet metal part. Grab your favorite marker and turn your flat piece of sheet metal and turn it into a work of art! A necessary tool for the diligent sheet metal worker.

AL3 Angle Finder using Side of Scale

Functional Scale Design

Think outside the box to measure those hard to reach angles. The scale plate is specially designed to assist in measuring difficult or hard to reach angles where the two legs may not fit. Even the tapered edge off of the 4-inch leg has its purpose.

Use the AL3 to avoid obstructive corners that alter your measurement

Avoid Obsctructive Corners

Avoiding obstructions such as a heavy weld joint can make it difficult to get an accurate measurement. The Angle Finder 3 can be oriented to bypass the difficult corner and provide a stable base for an accurate measurement.

I want to find the correct fence angle on my table saw for making cove cuts and this device was the best I could find, it worked very well at lining up the fence but I did think it could have been made a bit stronger and more heavy duty, it seems overly fragile and (as with all delicate measuring tools) requires extra care in handling and storage.
