Definitely not a go for anything that needs any amount of precision. The hinge pin fits much to loosely. Could Definitely use some improvement.

I used this on a pontoon ladder that previously had only a lighter weight two holes per side hinge that had failed. I got lucky and the first two holes lined up perfectly. I only had to drill one more hole and install. The finish is smooth and bright. The hinge is sturdy and works as it should It will probably outlast the ladder. I am very pleased.

Looks nice and thick but hinge has too much side to side movement, not too confident about the hinge strength.For this price there should be no play. It is not enough to just have thick attachment plates, there also needs to be equivalent strength in the hinge itself and I am not sure that it is there.
