I suppose it would have worked as I had hoped but the package only came with half of the latch. The hook portion was not sent.

Off all the additions I've made to my RV, this one will last the longest. The pieces are very solid and fit together well. I'm using it to latch down the under-bed storage lid on my trailer since the lift piston wants to hold it open.

Very solid construction. Having the extra lock hole is a great feature. I use 2 hold downs to latch my 49” tv to the ceiling of my rv. It hold the tv tight to the ceiling without and concern of it unlatching driving down the road.

I had a terrible time finding small draw latches for perpendicular or 90 degree uses. I needed some for a few little attic hatch doorways. Then I stumbled on the ones here. These latches are the exact same as you'd find for a much higher price at marine or sailing supply stores. It's sturdy, solid and appears well made. It's actually about 4" long end to end, when both parts are connected. They did what I needed them to do. I may get a few more just to have on hand seeing that small draw latches like this aren't sold by very many retailers.
