My son is 5’8” 150-155 pounds to use as a reference. We ordered ”Age 12-16” size in all black. He’s currently 16 but will be 17 here in a few months. He has always had to tighten the gear as small as it will go. He does like it extra tight on him though despite his size. He had this set in gray/white but it has finally seen better days. He had the white/gray set for years through multiple spring, summer and fall seasons. He is the main catcher on his team, so the gear does hold up. He also takes care of it. It shipped and arrived quickly. Packaged well. I would recommend.

We bought our first set of this catching equipment for our son when he was 10. It lasted 2 years, 4 seasons, 5 different teams, and he caught almost every single game(roughly 20+ games per team). The only issue we had with the first set was that an elastic strap broke and he lost 2 screws in helmet, but all of it was still functional. My other son still uses the old equipment for practice! Definitely worth the investment.

My son really likes it and feels protected the only issue is the piece that is supposed to cover his man parts - it attaches with Velcro so it constantly is moving and not protecting what it should - the other thing that is different about this one is the helmet - it is a much better helmet than his previous but you can’t wear a hat under it to keep hair out of his face (bought a sweatband and fixed that) - one thing he really likes is he can see more out of this helmet than his previous one. I’d give it five stars if the Velcro piece was better quality - balls hit the ground and bounce up so that is protection that would be good to have. Otherwise he seems to think it is a good buy!

This is our second set of All Star catcher’s gear. It does not disappoint. Will probably by again. 😁
