Got this shirt after breaking a couple ribs, to prevent them from getting bumped. However it would absolutely protect them from getting broken in the first place. It’s well made with thick padding. It is comfortable and fits well.

I got this shirt so that I could wear it under my coaching shirts or sweatshirts when I am on the field. I am pretty heavy, so I like to get in to some of my linemen drills for football and give the kids a larger body to move around.So concequently, they beat the heck out of me. So I wanted something that made me look less like an unsuccesssful MMA participant.The pads on these offer decent protection, but really shine when players are trying to grab me. Instead of getting fingernail claw marks all over myself, this shirt keeps me protected. The side pads are also nice for when we practice defending against different techniques that can expose the side. If I am working with them on blocking someone who is trying to use a “swim move” to get bast them, part of defeating that is a solid shot to the side. Those were leaving a mark when I was demonstrating this, so that pad, even though it is not huge, has helped a lot in keeping my ribs from plotting against me.Overall, this has been a great aid for myself. I am sure it would work well for some of our players, especially in Spring practices, but, of course, this is all about me. And I like it!

My son needed a second shift for under his football pads. This shift does not have the pad rest like some of the others but it does breath well and is light weight. It runs big. THe other ones we have got have been mens small and they have been a night tight fit. This one is baggy. He will grow into it but had to get a different one since this didn't come in extra small.

The Legendfit Adults Baseball Chest Rib Protector Padded Compression Shirt is well made with good materials. The sewing is snug with no hanging threads. The seams and hems are reinforced and have no gaps or flaws. The size is correct.The padding is moderate. It will protect from medium impacts but probably not from a full impact.

I have a football player/ first season and decided to test this padded shirt with him to give him the extra layer of protection and confidence, it did the trick! It fits great! Maybe a tad bigger than true to size but still made it work for him! The padding could be a bit thicker but great valued for the money! I saw some known brands for over the double price tag so this is a good start!

Protection without the weight and does not over heat you. I am 6’1” and ordered an xl. Good fit.
