I went to PetSmart and Petco looking for these. Everyone only seems to sell the shirt, fat, blue air stones now. These are exactly what I was looking for and they work perfectly! Lots and lots of super small air bubbles.

Work very well. Recommended for use in under gravel filter lift tubes. Smaller diameter lets more water up the tube instead of the stone itself acting as a restriction in the tube.

Just remember to soak these for an hour before use and you will be happy! A lower air flow will result in less and larger bubbles, but on full blast, these beauties put out a thick cloud of fine bubbles that works fantastic for aerating a brine shrimp hatch tank.

I got these for a diy box filter I made with a small empty box of coffee. After it set it up for my quarantine tank, I noticed the bubbles were larger than some other ceramic air stones. In the end I needed it for how thin it was so it serves its purpose I guess.

These are fair, but could be a little better, but they are small .

I really like these and hope they return to Amazon soon. The narrow diameter makes them great for any sort of Sponge or Box filter that uses an air lift tube. The narrow diameter offers less flow restriction in the lift tube as water has to find a way around the stone its self. These are also very well built and should last as long as any other stone.

Item works, but not the same size as described. I have a VERY small sponge filter and had this item been the .92 inches in length it would have fit. The stone itself is over an inch and with the nozzle the total length is nowhere near as advertised. No big deal for most, but if space is tight for you make sure you have room!

fits perfectly into a lift tube for a sponge filter. bubbles are finely shaped and the airstone looks sturdy.
