it comes with no instructions but its pretty basic. The tube is pretty long so if you need to cut it, go ahead, I did and made it shorter. Great price and it pumps a lot of air! You can adjust it with the level they provide.

Pump works really well. Watch their video on here to see how to hook it up because it doesn't come with instructions. My only real complaint though is if your tank has a lid, this won't fit with the hanger it comes with. I had to lay it down next to my tank with the rubber feet facing down so that I could use the tank lid. So if you use a lid, get a pump that is meant to not be clipped to the tank itself.

I originally purchased this for a 6 gallon beta tank. Our beta loves it, can’t turn it up all the way although because it’s powerful. I purchased two more for my son’s 55 gallon tank to crate more oxygen and couldn’t be happier. I will say that I had trouble when I received the first one trying to figure out how to assemble it and had to find a video online, so that would be the only downfall to it. Please include instructions. The pumps are small and mighty as well as quiet, I make sure they aren’t touching anything, or else they rattle and make noise.

Oh my god do i love this pump, its actually silent, as long as it and the tubing or the pump itself doesnt touch anything, but the important thing is, its silent when given a fair chance to be silent. My other pump i cannot get to be silent, so I can constantly hear it going, no matter how much i get it to stop touching stuff. This also doesnt cause insane water movement, which is a blessing for a betta owner. Best way to get rid of surface movement though, is to just put something above it, and bam, almost still water surface. Which is wonderful, compared to my spray bar filter. I literally hate it sm compared to this pump. I will admit i dont use the air pump because i use sponge filters, but thats bc i wanted a filter. But this fr is a blessing for fish owners with fish that prefer slow moving water. The rising bubbles only cause an issue if theres nothing to stop them at the surface, but thats an issue youll have with every air stone/sponge filter, and its got an easy fix, unlike my spray bar 😒This pump also works great in a 5 gallon and 10 gal!! have had it for a solid while now, and it still works and is wonderful. Whoever made this, I hope you know Ily, youve blessed (this) fish person

Works as well as I need it to, no complaints about the product as a whole, and it's shockingly quiet. If I had to nitpick:-The little flow control lever feels pretty flimsy due to how tiny it is.-The aerator stone that came with it let out a little "sand" all over everything else in the bag (and kinda shredded up the bag itself a little), leading to a lot of gritty stuff getting into the flow control thing, which I had to "fish" out (haha) with a toothpick.

Bought two of these. Worked well. Design seemed good compared to the cylindrical USB pumps of the last few years that are won't to break down. So, I bought two more. Turned out they couldn't power an air stone (one) or a clean, small sponge filter (the other). So, hit and miss. Not a good value. If you have a normal receptacle to plug in, just get the cheap plug in version. Save USB air pumps for road trips and not normal wear.

Update: I am now using this thing in a 40 gallon breeder tank with a 14" stone I got for $4. And it's pumping the air through the entire stone. Adding a picture so you can see the kind of air it pumps out of the 14" stone. Now for my original review... If you want a air pump that has everything you need, all in 1, this is it. It comes with the tube, air stone, on/off valve & flow back valve. Works great and isn't that loud. I'd say you could definitely use this in a 20 gallon. Probably even a 29. However, there's one thing to know about this. If you want to split the tube with a tube splitter to add a 2nd stone, this won't work. I decided to attempt 2 stones just to see what it would do & it didn't blow enough air for either stone. But, I'm willing to bet if you got a longer stone, this would work. Don't quote me on that just yet. I'll update this review if I try that. Which I just might. I will say, that this thing says Nano tank. And lists up to 20 gallons. A nano tank is usually a very small tank. I bought this for a 3 gallon. And while it did work in the 3, it was almost too much for the 3. I had to use the shut off valve to close it 90% closed. This isn't a bad thing. I'm just letting you know that this is fully capable of a 10 to probably 29 gallon tank.
