I installed these on my 97 4runner inside my OME springs and it made a noticeable difference when hauling my dirtbike around on the hitch (wr450f 275lbs + ~50lb rack).I really put it though hell and went offroading with the bike on the back and it kept the back end from sagging and I have plenty of control through windy roads. Installation was relatively easy, much easier to remove the springs instead of trying to sneak it through the coils. Inflating and deflating is a breeze.I didnt have any leaks but I did have one of the hoses pop off when I rolled over a large rock and the quick drop pulled the hose off the nipple, may have been my fault with how I installed it but I did a quick reinstall on the one side and has not come off again. Driven over 2000miles since that issue with no problems.

I live in my 2002 4Runner and offroad it heavily everywhere I go. I installed these airbags 14 months ago to eliminate sag and improve handling and I love how they have performed!Sometimes I travel with my trailer, other times just my 4Runner and dirtbike, and occasionally I even leave the dirtbike behind, so it's nice to be able to quickly change the pressure based on load.My standard cross country load is 1,500 pounds of gear, bringing the 4Runner to around 5,500 pounds. Once the bags are inflated there is no noticeable sag in the suspension even under this heavy load.Update: It's been 2.5 years and they're still working perfectly!

Good kit, came with everything I needed. My 98 4runner has newer springs all around, but would sag bad in the rear when I hook up a 2600lb trailer. This got it level again (safer braking, not as hard on front end components/tires) for a fraction the cost and pain of a weight distribution hitch. Install is straight forward if you're mechanical.

Easy to install and instructions are good, though I watched a YouTube video for the final job. Holding up well with no leaking or similar. Makes a big difference when carrying a motorcycle on the hitch, with my campaign platform in the truck.

READ THE LAST OARAGRAPH IF YOU THINK JUST GETTING NEW REAR SPRINGS IS THE BEST OPTIONI'm extremely happy with the Air Lift bags. The installation took me a lot longer than an hour, but it was pretty easy and it wa a fun project. I would have given these 5 stars, but I am very disappointed that they cheaped out by sending a plastic tee. I hate plastic, but, after going to 5 different hardware and automotive stores, I wasn't able to find a brass tee in time to do the installation. When I tried to get the second hose onto the tee, it simply would not go on past the second barb. I tried soaping it, along with every other trick I could think of, but it would not go on far enough. The plastic tee was starting to flex (which, obviously, would not have happened with a brass one) so I just went with two fill connections and saved all that hassle. One advantage to separate fill lines: You may or not not realize this already, but the drivers side of a 3rd generation 4Runner always sits bit lower than the passenger's side. With separate fill lines you can get it sitting dead level, if you so desire. With one fill line the driver's side will sit a bit lower (like 1/4-1/2 inch, so I guess it's not that big of a deal). I personally want mine sitting level, so I am riding with 20psi in the passenger's side and 22psi in the driver's side when unloaded.I could not be happier with the way my 4Runner rides now! Instead of thudding over the slightest bump in the road, it just kind of floats along.....It feels like I got a brand new suspension! In 2015 I put brand new OEM springs and shocks in the rear, hoping to solve the sag. It lasted (I kid you not) 2 days before it was at exactly the same sagged height again. (I know because I measured it before and after the install) I thought I would have to get a lift in order to get quality springs that wouldn't sag, but these air bags saved me from having to do that. They were inexpensive, sort of easy to install, and my 4Runner now rides like a dream! I'll do another review in a year or two after seeing how well they last, etc.

Installed these on my 2000 4-Runner 3.4 4x4. I also installed new MOOG rear springs. I received them yesterday and had them installed in about an hour or so. Very easy to do but I removed my rear springs (due to replacing them too). So far so good.Don't know if it was a combination of both or just one of the other but with about 12 psi i achieved about a 2" increase in height. Ride is great. A little confusing as to where to put the supplied blocks. I put mine on top of the bags but might move them to the bottom later so the bags have a better platform to rest on. I am concerned about how long they will last due to rubbing but they are made out of great material. They air up extremely fast and would be easy to over inflate so be careful. Could use a brass T fitting instead of plastic but I will probably change that out at a later time. If you do any towing or just haul allot of people/equipment around at all, I would recommend these.I have been looking/wanting to buy this product for a couple of years now and I am glad I finally bit the bullet.
